The Role of Atmospheric Chemistry at Caltech

The Role of Atmospheric Chemistry at CaltechCaltech Chemistry is known for its constant experimentation with all kinds of chemicals and especially with the newest one: the sun. To that end, several classes at Caltech offer a course entitled 'The Role of Atmospheric Chemistry' to learn about that very subject. The aim of this class is to keep students informed about how the environment affects their lives and to increase their awareness about global environmental problems. The classes for this subject are offered by the Department of Earth Sciences (EES) as part of their Department of Chemistry. The teacher of the class, Dr. Scott Chamberlain, conducts lectures on topics such as ozone depletion, carbon dioxide chemistry, marine biology, air pollution, and new climate change. These are some of the aspects of this major that may be covered in these classes. If you are considering a career as a scientist in the environmental field, you can take advantage of a course like this one.You may have heard of one of the professors who led the research that discovered lead in ancient Mexican mummies, but there is another person who is considered by many to be the real hero. He is David H. Gluck, professor emeritus of physics and astronomy. He is a pioneer in the field of atmospheric chemistry and a tireless advocate for the preservation of the environment.Gluck was instrumental in discovering lead contamination in the environment by studying the fallout of the atomic bombings of Japan. Not only did he develop the first analytical method to detect these pollutants, he also learned the value of environmental preservation while conducting the study. If you have ever wondered about this, this professor's story is a good example of the type of person you would want to be working in the field of science.Other classes at Caltech will be taught by another scientist who is known as the 'father of atmospheric chemistry.' This is Dr. Robert Stewart, and the topic for this class is 'Ozo ne and Climate,' which explains the role of oxygen as a greenhouse gas.For this course, Stewart offers lecture sessions on the evolution of ozone from its formation in the upper atmosphere to its destruction by ultraviolet radiation, the effects of ozone on the Earth's climate, and the 'cosmic wind' that brings oxygen to the surface and life to the oceans. Just as important is the inclusion of a list of environmental materials such as food, clothing, and electronics that are made from ozone, and why you should be concerned about this harmful pollutant. Many other classes at Caltech have their own perspectives on the role of science in the overall protection of the environment. One class teaches students how to look at the creation of a planet and its development as an organism through a series of charts. You may also find some classes, such as those on the environment and the health effects of pollution, as being fun and interesting.

How important is it for children to have an early start to learning - ALOHA Mind Math

How important is it for children to have an early start to learning Have you heard about kids listening to music even when in the womb? This blog article makes a strong point about how important it is to pay attention to what children are learning in their pre-school years. Here are some reasons to help them get a head start on early childhood development: It’s never too early: As soon as babies start being aware of the world around them, they are beginning to take in information. Though it is too early to start off on those math operations, it is the right time for exposure to other stimulants like music. A lot of experts recommend classical music, but it is your choice as a parent which type you choose. You will also make out from your baby’s reactions as to which one he might enjoy more than others. Helps make sense of surroundings:Do you remember how your child reacted when he realized that those squiggles all around him were actually letters, and that he could put it together and find out so many things? Learning to read at an early age can be a very important stage, and opens up the entire world to him. On the flip side however, this means you cannot keep secrets by spelling them out anymore. Photo Courtesy : http://www.flickr.com/photos/librarianavengers/5931893121/ Learning through play: Many concepts of math and other subjects can be introduced at a very young age, by using games and other interesting means of learning. It makes it easy for the child to understand, and simple operations like counting or addition will remain strong in your child’s memory long before she starts learning these at school. Forms a foundation: It is a great way to improve a child’s confidence, when he or she has an understanding of concepts when they enter pre-school. This does not imply that we need to tutor our kids in the A,B,Cs and 1,2,3s before they start school, only that they need to be aware of the concepts so that they are able to build on them further at school. Creating a supportive and learning environment at home can be a great boost for your kid’s educational experience. While on the lookout for good learning experiences, do check out our programs at Aloha that also help to build confidence in your child. More details are at our website: http://w ww.aloha-usa.com

5 Ways to Encourage Learning At Home

5 Ways to Encourage Learning At Home For most children, school and home are two separate entities. To them, one likely involves a locker, backpack, and textbooks, while the other may mean downtime, video games, and snacks. However, it can be important (and even entertaining) to bring the learning environment into the home for your child. If you let it, learning at home can be both productive and fun. Here are five easy ways to encourage cracking a book or two on the couch. 1. Ask questions The easiest way to become involved with your child's school studies is to have regular conversations about what he or she is learning. Taking the time over dinner to ask a couple of questions about his or her school day can make a world of difference in how a child views school. If it's obvious you value school and all the good that comes with it, chances are your student will follow your lead. Some days he or she may even start the conversation about next week's math test. 2. Read with your child Reading is integral to all types of learning. Most classes at any grade level involve a plethora of reading assignments. If your children are young, try reading a picture book with them every night. If they prefer reading on their own, suggest family quiet time where everyone reads in the living room or even a book club where the same book is read. Keep your house filled with books and newspapers to stress just how important you find the written word to be. 3. Take your child on educational outings Even if it's just the occasional trip to the library, make a habit of doing academic activities with your child outside of school. Set a date, and buy tickets for a dinosaur exhibit at the natural history museum. Take an evening to sit on a blanket in the park and look through a telescope. Your child may be surprised at how much he or she enjoys activities involving learning. 4. Help your student get organised A lot of children like to have certain school supplies in place before the school year even begins. For some students, only certain coloured pens, paper, and binders will do. Find out what supplies your child prefers, and make sure he or she has enough of them. When your student brings home a lot of stapled papers and written assignments, help him or her keep them straight. If a science project looks like it'll take up a whole end of the kitchen table, help make room for it. This shows you're in support of learning at home. 5. Celebrate and reward his or her successes When your child aces a science test or wins a spelling bee, let him or her know you're impressed. Take your child out for ice cream, or post the perfect test score on the fridge for a week. Take pride in what he or she accomplishes at school, and so will your child. Learning at school is an important step to a lifetime of learning, but so is learning at home. As a parent, you are the teacher, so start making your home a welcome, warm atmosphere where new information and personal growth are encouraged.

10 Literary Pickup Lines And How To Turn Them Down

10 Literary Pickup Lines And How To Turn Them Down Photo Via: http://www.virginmedia.com There are several things wrong with this line. For one thing, what does it even mean to be Romeo and Juliet? That you’ll kill yourself for each other and end up with nothing? You do realize this is one of the greatest tragedies of all time, right? How you should turn this line down: “I’m more like the Rosaline to your Romeo. Spoiler alert: we’re not going to end up together.” 2. “I’d like to Catch 22 of you.” Ew, gag. For one thing, you should certainly think this one through before even thinking about saying it. I mean seriously, you want there to be 22 of this person? You’ll regret that the second you let the words leave your lips. This line practically turns itself down. How you should turn this line down: “Good, then all 22 of us can turn you down at the same time, and maybe then you’ll get the hint.” 3. “I hear you have Great Expectations, but if you give me a chance, I’m sure I can live up to them.” This isn’t the worst line I’ve ever heard, but it’s still not one worth entertaining. For one thing, I’ll bet the speaker didn’t even like the book, and if they did, they obviously have extremely boring taste. So they’re either a liar or a complete bore: neither option has much potential. How you should turn this line down: “Since you thought that line was going to work, I’m going to go out on a limb and say you’re probably wrong.” 4. “I can Sense you have a lot of Sensibility. I’m sorry, was that a little too Austen-tatious of me to say?” Photo Via: http://images2.fanpop.com This one’s clever, I’ll absolutely give the author that. But aside from this, you picked one of the most boring Jane Austen novels ever. “Sense and Sensibility?” Really? At least go traditional and pick “Pride and Prejudice” or something. How you should turn this line down: “Sorry, but I have more Sense than Sensibility, which is exactly why I’m going to turn you down.” 5. “Is your name Scarlett? Because I swear, when I saw you, I was Gone With The Wind.” One, almost no one is named Scarlett anymore. So why you’re opening with that question, I have no idea. What happens when she says no? You look stupid and you’re going home alone. Two, saying you’re “Gone With The Wind” just leaves too much room for her to turn you down. This line’s a mistake and you know it. How you should turn this line down: “That’s so interesting, because I really want you to be Gone With The Wind, too.” 6. “I’d do Wild Things wherever you Are.” You’re coming on way too strong. This is a children’s book and you’re trying to throw in sexual innuendos? Are you kidding me? Not only does this line deserve to be turned down, but it deserves a slap in the face as well. You disgust me. How you should turn this line down: “That’s great! There’s something really wild I was hoping you could do for me right now: disappear.” 7. “If you say yes, our love story could be the next Nicholas Sparks novel.” Photo Via: http://mediafiles.cineplex.com I’m sorry, stop right there. Are you seriously suggesting that starting out a relationship with a line this cheesy could possibly lead to a love story so fantastic, a major motion picture starring Zac Efron or Channing Tatum could be made out of it? That’s what I thought. How you should turn this line down: “In that case, I’m going to go ahead and say no.” 8. If you’re going to bed, mind if I Slytherin? Props on the “Harry Potter” reference, but aside from that, this line is all wrong. For one thing, it’s too suggestive for a young adult novel, for another thing, you chose to use the bad guys in your pickup line? That’s so wrong. How you should turn this line down: “Why don’t you make like the invisibility cloak and disappear?” 9. “If I were a werewolf, I’d want to imprint on you.” As if the “Twilight” reference wasn’t enough to lose you points, the fact that you don’t really understand the concept of imprinting would do you in. You can’t choose who you imprint on. Read the book. How you should turn this line down: “Sorry, I’m team Edward.” 10. “Are you looking for a relationship, because if you are, I volunteer as tribute.” Photo Via: http://www.amommystory.com As much as I love “The Hunger Games,” the volunteering as tribute thing is a little overdone. Plus, volunteering as tribute isn’t meant to be a good thing. Did you even read the book? How you should turn this line down: “If I was stuck in that arena with you, I’d step off the platform just to get away. There are countless more literary pickup lines that are sure to be thrown around from time to time, so pay attention to them. And I encourage you to get creative when turning them down. There really isn’t much more satisfying than that.

Tempe~An Education and Employment Mecca in the West`s Most Western Town

Tempe~An Education and Employment Mecca in the West`s Most Western Town The Grand Canyon State extends to folks a fifty square-mile community known as Tempe, AZ, a hinterland of Phoenix, located southeast of the State Capital. Over one-hundred-and-sixty-thousand locals take pleasure in experiencing Tempes sectarian surroundings, which are next to big-city conveniences. This Phoenix burb offers loads of distinguishable communities; Arizona State University is in North Tempe, and it’s seriously occupied by college students. South Tempe is much less busy, having more free-space and producing a more family-friendly quarter. After the establishment of Fort McDowell on Arizonas Salt River Valley’s eastward border, resourceful agriculturalists relocated into the community in the mid 1800s. Seventy years later, the Roosevelt Dam promised sufficient clean water to satisfy the population’s thriving demands, and a brand-new urban area was formed. A university appeared in north Tempe during the late fifties, in addition to the Fiesta Bowl and the Arizona Cardinals. In the early eighties, Tempes, Mill Avenue, was rejuvenated into a leisure and shopping neighborhood, which drew in customers from all over the valley. Today, the Mill Avenue District engages countless suburbanites at many of its finest-dining establishments and shopping hotspots, which offer loads of casual and first-class eateries and plenty of low-scale and high-end retail store shops throughout the neighborhood. Tempe’s locals do boast that the city not only allows them to remain within their budgets, but also permits them to balance work and fun, easily, through Tempe’s many weekend activities; natives can gather for some fun rivalry action at one of Arizona State University’s collegiate games. The metropolitan areas joblessness rate is nearly two-scores below the national standard, given that Tempes leading two employers, Arizona State University and the Maricopa Community College District, hires over sixteen-thousand people. Other major Tempe companies include Wells Fargo, Safeway and the Salt River Project. Education and learning are the flux-capacitor of this citys superb scholastic benefits with Arizona State University, the largest campus in the United States by enrolment, in its hub. The metropolis publicizes excellent academic training and modest unemployment levels, for folks attracted to top quality learning opportunities with prosperous careers following graduation. Arizona State University registers more that sixty-thousand students, granting Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. courses. Colleges and Trade Schools in the area consist of two-and-four-year, focused learning opportunities at the University of Advancing Computer Technology; New Horizons Computer Learning Centers; Rio Salado College; Arizona School of Massage Therapy; and Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. According to Degree Jungle, one of the countrys leading web-based institutions, the University of Phoenix, also labels Tempe, Arizona, its home. Likewise, the adjoining, Maricopa Community College District, offers intrigued students degrees or transfer credits at any one of its ten accredited colleges. Two-year, higher-education institutions in Tempe also make available tailored, workforce instruction-and-development programs for neighborhood businesses; certificates of completion are l provided in assorted work-related areas as well. In addition to all this, Tempe’s eight public high schools; four public middle schools; and eighteen public elementary schools lead the state in test scores. In all, the Tempe Elementary School District teaches over twelve-thousand kids all year, and it works with over eight-hundred educators to perform the job; thus, the citys modest student-to-teacher ratio suggests that youngsters are vulnerable to obtain superior learning.

The Main Elements Of Fiu Tutoring Services

The Main Elements Of Fiu Tutoring ServicesFiu tutoring is one of the most common and best accredited tutoring firms in the United States. The company has been able to stand out because of its professionalism, dedication, and availability of their tutors to students. Many people do not realize the extent of their formal training as tutors. Most tutors receive informal training which consists of studying and taking classes at universities and colleges. They can get their formal training at Fiu tutoring centres, training centres, and institutions. When you are choosing a Fiu tutoring centre, you should always consider where they are located. There are three different types of centres: in-house, private tutoring centres, and online courses. The In-house centres provide tuition services for their students and are often the ones that charge more because of the level of expertise and educational experience. Most of these centres are designed for teaching by an instructor, but if you wish for your tutoring to be done on your own, then most of the companies offer private tutoring as well.Online tutoring is something that many parents have opted for because of its flexibility and convenience. Many parents are discovering that having an online tutoring service from their children's school gives them the chance to see their child in their own home. Parents can use the software and hardware provided by the company to conduct their own training sessions, as well as the added benefit of being able to work together with their child and work on projects together. For students who cannot afford the high cost of attending school or just want to save money, one of the best methods is to find a reliable website to provide tuition services to your child. Most websites allow parents to sign up to one tutor for their child, as well as a second one for another child, and often many for more than one child. When you are selecting a private tutor, remember that this is someone that your chil d needs to follow. This is why you will want to find someone who is very focused in his or her work and that has been trained in the methods that your child will need to learn in order to succeed. If you do not have time to attend a formal program, then an online program may be the perfect choice for you. Often it is the convenience of using the internet that allows them to get the very best education for your child. Fiu tutoring services are growing in popularity and there are many other companies available as well.

Trends in Analytical Chemistry Are Not Harmful

Trends in Analytical Chemistry Are Not HarmfulAnalytical Chemistry is one of the two main branches of chemistry in the modern educational system. It deals with chemical properties of compounds and how they interact with each other. There are many people that believe that trends in analytical chemistry are harmful. This is mainly because in the past, people didn't understand chemistry and so did not realise that some things were important. There was a lack of awareness. However, trends in analytical chemistry are not harmful. We use trends in analytical chemistry to help us understand the properties of a chemical and how it interacts with other things in the body. This is important because we need to understand the properties of chemicals in order to get proper medical treatment for ourselves or for other people. We need to know what causes the symptoms of diseases in other people so that we can provide the best treatment for them.Trends in analytical chemistry should not be viewed as a single branch of chemistry because that would make the whole subject sound dull. Instead of viewing trends in analytical chemistry as something that is wrong, we should view it as a way of thinking more about chemistry and its relationship with the rest of the sciences. We need to look at trends in analytical chemistry as a means of helping people understand the importance of learning about how the human body reacts to certain kinds of chemicals in the environment. We also need to consider trends in analytical chemistry as a means of providing people with a better understanding of how the body works and responds to certain chemicals in the environment. One of the biggest threats to the world's medical supplies is the spread of a few chemicals that cause cancer and other health problems. We all need to think about the trends in analytical chemistry to help us learn about the dangers of certain chemicals in the environment. Chemicals can be harmful or beneficial to the body depending o n the interactions between different chemicals. The current trends in analytical chemistry helps us to understand the reactions that occur when different types of chemicals interact. When we study this, we will have a better understanding of how we can improve our environment and how we can protect our bodies from harm.

Circle Graphs

Circle Graphs The circle graph is a graph drawn in the shape of a circle and is divided into sectors. Each of these sectors represents a part of a data set. These sectors may be mostly represented as percentage. This circle graph is also called pie chart. To draw the graph we need to calculate the degrees for each arc or sectors. This is done by multiplying percentage with 360 degree. Then with the help of a protractor the graph is drawn. This circle graphs are very useful tool and explained by the following examples. Example 1: A collection of 200 people are sitting in a room. These are 3 colored chairs; 80 sitting on red, 60 sitting on blue, and 60 sitting on green. Calculate the percentage and degrees of the circle graph. Solution: Total people are 200 Percentage on red chair = 80/200 x 100= 40%; (40/100)360 =144 Percentage on blue chair = 60/200 x 100= 30%; (30/100)360 =108 Percentage on green chair = 60/200 x 100= 30%; (30/100)360 =108 Example 2: In a traffic jam, we have 20 Zen, 20 Santro, 30 Nano and 40 WagonR. Find the percentage and degree of the types of cars. Solution: Total cars = 20+20+30+40 = 110 Percentage of Zen = 20/110 x 100 = 18.18%; (18.18/100)360 =65.45 Percentage of Santro = 20/110 x 100 = 18.18%; (18.18/100)360 =65.45 Percentage of Nano = 30/110 x 100 = 27.77%; (27.77/100)360 =99.97 Percentage of WagonR = 40/110 x 100 = 16.66%; (16.66/100)360 =59.97

5 Powerful Ways Music Can Improve Your Memory

5 Powerful Ways Music Can Improve Your Memory Mac Dont you wish you could remember everything you want?  Although its just about  impossible to do that, the good news is you can get very close!  In this article, youll learn about the effect of music on memory and how to use it to your advantage We like to think that memory is a  key indicator  of our intellectual abilities. After all, that’s what makes us such a capable species. Without memory, we wouldn’t be able to pass down information from generation to generation, which is how we evolve. Therefore, we like to believe that memory is linked only to  reason and intellect. However, recent studies have revealed  that other factors â€"  such as emotions, stress, food, and hormones â€" can have a huge impact on the way we remember information. This is why we aim to further understand  the effect of music on memory; music is one of the few elements we can actually manipulate in order to create more robust memories. Before we recommend how you can use memory-boosting music in your studies, lets first look at the scientific reasoning behind the effect of music on memory. The  Science Behind Memory-Boosting Music In order to truly understand the science, let’s start with an example: You’ll be taking a test tomorrow and you’re reading the same old notes, but you can’t seem to remember anything. And it’s surprising, because  we know that concentrating long and hard enough on something  makes us remember it. Whats the reasoning behind that? Well, pieces of information that we focus on are transformed into electrical impulses that travel between the brains neurons through synapses. That means if we repeat something often, we’ll strengthen the bond between neurons and create a memory. But why can’t you seem to remember something you really want to, especially when youre  trying hard to focus  with all of your attention? Long-term memories are stored by the hippocampus, a region in the brain  which is also influenced by proper maintenance of the working memory. The working memory itself is influenced by attention. However, attention in this case isn’t equivalent to concentration, but to a more meditative state, affected by the production of alpha and theta waves by the brain. The alpha waves allow deep concentration, while the theta waves bring calmness and relaxation. The Reason We Cant Remember Things So heres the answer: Many times stress is what disconcerts our brain, making it harder for us to learn new things. To counteract the negative effects that stress has on our memory, we must create the same calmness for ourselves. With that said, scientists found that music induces a state of meditation and relaxes the brain. Thus, the effect of music on memory is that it allows our brains to become more disengaged, or more free of “debris” which impede their proper functions. If you want your test scores to be as high as possible, consider listening to music while studying. What About Long-Term Memory? Apart from momentary stress (or acute stress) caused by nervousness-inducing tasks, chronic stress is another disruptor for the formation of long-term memories. Chronic stress is worse than acute stress because it causes actual health problems, like high blood pressure and heart disease. By messing with our hormones, chronic stress can cause loss of brain matter, affecting already-formed synapses (i.e. long-term memories). The same consequence is triggered by depression, an affliction  correlated with low levels of dopamine and serotonin  (these are called neurotransmitters). More to the point, both neurotransmitters play an important part in memory formation and they can both be influenced by music. Therefore, if you listen to adequate memory-boosting music while studying, chances are you’ll exceed your own expectations. The Mozart  Effect A number of neurological studies have been conducted on this subject, but some of them present rather contradictory results. Regarding the well-known Mozart Effect, some scientists found that listening to Mozart before performing a certain task improves the subject’s ability to solve it correctly. Meanwhile, others found that the Mozart Effect doesn’t affect test scores at all. Leaving that aside, they all agree that our cognitive abilities are enhanced when listening to Mozart and listening to  classical music in general. The problem is that we don’t know by exactly how much. The Vivaldi Effect Another interesting article from the same research area shows that there is also a Vivaldi Effect. According to the studies, listening to Vivaldi’s “Spring” can boost both attention and memory. Participants in this study listened to all of Vivaldis  â€œFour Seasons” concerts, but the first portion from “Spring” proved to be the most successful with regards to its memory-boosting properties. The Results All of these studies show that classical music has a definite impact on memory and attention, even though actual improvements in test scores are individual and can’t be predicted accurately. But other scientists argue that the effect of music on memory exists only if you enjoy it. Ambient music and classical music with no lyrics prove to be the best in this respect because they don’t have distracting lyrics. Instead, they improve your mood and relax your mind. On the other hand, pop music appears to decrease errors in spell-checking by 14%! 5 Good Reasons to Listen to Memory-Boosting Music Now that you know theres scientific evidence for music  improving  your memory, lets take a look at five wonderful benefits youll get from this practice. Memory-boosting music will: 1) Minimize your stress. Stress can cause an unbearable amount of negative thoughts to barrage and cloud your brain. It can also be the reason you feel unmotivated to work or study. Give your brain some rest by using music as a distraction from your stress. 2) Improve your mood. Listening to happy instrumental music will brighten your heart and mind. Give your ears some nice melodies and dont be afraid to sing along! Singing  is a great way to exercise your mind and body. 3) Allow you to think more clearly. Let your thoughts follow the organized musical patterns and rhythms for you to focus better. Studies show that our brains operate by  rhythms.  By listening to  the rhythms found in memory-boosting songs, youll be able to study in a clear and calculated  manner. 4) Keep your eyes on the goal. Listening to more alert musical pieces motivates you more and thus enhances your attention. You can essentially be pumped-up by a song and use that energy to accomplish the task at hand. 5) Allow yourself quick breaks. Taking a few moments to hum along with your favorite piece gives you some time to ruminate new information, while also allowing you to reward yourself. The music can be a good reminder that youve been studying too long and need a break. Memory-Boosting Songs The following songs are meant to improve your concentration while you work or study. Some are more calming than others, and some are more boisterous than others. Play around with the different selections and see which ones enhance your thinking, motivation, or anything memory-related. 1) Eine kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart Eine Kleine Nachtmusik has a vivacious tempo which will make you feel more energized.  Itll also enhance your dopamine levels! That in turn will help you remember new information better. 2) Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven Moonlight Sonata inspires peace and tranquility, adjusting your serotonin production. The more engaging parts bring back your focus if you start  slacking. 3) Four Seasons by Vivaldi Four Seasons offers you a mix of emotions thatll keep you on your toes. It’s better to listen to this piece if youre doing a routine task, or even if youre taking a break. 4) Bassoon Concerto by Mozart Bassoon Concerto provides you with a light-hearted rhythm to guide your thoughts along a natural, cursive path of reason and emotion. 5) Espiritual by Marcus Viana e Transfônica Orkestra Espiritual will give you some ambient music to enjoy and increase your productivity. The instruments play in a mellow fashion thatll assist with your concentration. 6) Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen Bohemian Rhapsody  instills a motivating rhythm, but also helps create a relaxed atmosphere. Not to mention the satisfaction your brain must feel when listening to this true work of art, with varying melodic lines and exciting tempo changes. 7) Fidelio’s Overture by Beethoven Fidelios Overture is an energetic piece that won’t let you slip into the dream-world while studying. Itll motivate you enough on the more intense bits, but itll also allow you some sense of calmness during the other parts. 8) No Ordinary Love by Sade No Ordinary Love has a very structured rhythm (like a lot of usual love songs). It has lyrics, but the singers voice is really suave and  you won’t lose your focus. However, humming along here and there may actually help new information stick better. 9) Soldier of Fortune by Deep Purple Soldier of Fortune is a great song to listen  to when trying to study. It’s quite repetitive, so you won’t feel compelled to pay much attention to changes in rhythm and intensity. 10) Thus Spoke Zarathustra by  Richard Strauss Thus Spoke Zarathustra  is an inspiring piece thats not  distracting at all. Itll  help you get into a consistent pace with your studying. Conclusion Did you memorize everything you just read? Just kidding! We hope that you enjoyed learning more about  the effect of music on memory. To learn more awesome facts about music, or for more invaluable study tips, schedule a lesson with a private teacher.
